Gila System Hydraulics

HPF analyzed hydraulics of a produced water pipeline network with multiple entries and takeaways. We extracted GIS data from the producer’s KMZ file to create a hydraulic simulation in ProMax and fulfilled the engineering and design of the standard facility with:

  • Process Engineering and Modeling
  • Booster Pump Location and Recommendation
  • Booster Pump Riser and electrical design

Block 31 Plant Water System

  • HPF produced the design of a new cooling water tower, circulation pumps, boiler, and above ground header system to replace old equipment and below ground pipe
  • HPF 3D scanned the existing pipe racks and equipment areas for pipe design
  • HPF specified and selected all equipment for purchase
  • HPF simulated and created performance runs for existing compression at the facility

Water (8”) and Gas (6”) Pipelines

HPF designed two 20-mile pipelines, including launcher/receivers, rises, LACTs, PD pumps, and a gas separator. HPF created all instrument and electrical designs including switchracks, pump VFDs, and PLC design. HPF performed the engineering and design of the standard facility including the following:
